Abstract
The article examines the current state and potential of surface water resources in the North Kazakhstan region. An assessment of the quantity and quality of water in the rivers and lakes of the region has been carried out, and the parameters of water availability by region have been determined. Special attention is paid to the hydrological characteristics of the Yesil River, including the intraannual distribution of runoff and the influence of reservoirs. The possibilities of using water resources for the needs of agriculture, water supply, recreation and tourism are analyzed. A conditional scale for assessing water availability has been developed and measures for effective management of the region's water resources have been proposed.
This article is devoted to the analysis of the state of water bodies in the North Kazakhstan region (North Kazakhstan region) and the formation of scientifically sound approaches to their management in the context of sustainable development. The results of an inventory of rivers, lakes, and reservoirs in the region are presented, the volume and quality of water resources are assessed, and key trends in water use by industry are identified. The classification of the region's lakes by geomorphological and hydrochemical characteristics is carried out, the features of the intraannual distribution of runoff and the influence of hydraulic structures on the hydrological regime are considered. Recommendations on water conservation, the development of irrigation agriculture, as well as the use of small lakes for water supply and fishing are proposed. The scientific novelty lies in the comprehensive cartographic and quantitative assessment of the water resources of the North Kazakhstan region based on modern methods of spatial analysis. The results of the article can be used by government agencies, scientific institutions and business entities in planning water management activities and territorial development.
